We sell a few different types of e-liquid. Here’s a handy breakdown:
Berry Nic Salt E-Liquids:
- These use nicotine salts instead of traditional freebase nicotine.
- This softens the throat hit for higher nicotine concentration minus the harshness.
- It’s what you’ll usually find in pod systems and disposable vapes.
Berry Shortfill E-Liquids:
- Shortfill products are nicotine-free e-liquids with extra room in the bottle so you can add your own nicotine booster.
- They give you control and flexibility to customise the nicotine level in your e-liquid, getting it exactly how you like it.
Berry Standard E-Liquids:
- If the bottle doesn’t specifically say nic salt or shortfill, it’s probably your regular e-liquid.
- These are pre-mixed e-liquids that come with a fixed nicotine level, meaning there’s no need to adjust the nicotine content yourself.
- You simply use them as they are, straight out the box.
What’s the difference between the berry flavours used in freebase e-liquid vs nic salt e-liquid? Do they taste the same?
While the flavour profiles are generally pretty similar, we tend to find that the freebase e-liquid has a harsher throat hit than the smoother nicotine salt e-liquid. The stronger hit the freebase delivers can mask the flavours a bit, but it's all down to preference, really!
